Deu Piano Studio is no longer active as of Sep 2021 as D has moved to Canada. This website has been archived for reference purposes. D is currently a permanent resident in Canada, and BHSC student at Queen’s University, Kingston (2023-2026).

D began teaching full time in 2011 in her own studio in Singapore, after graduating high school. She debuted her compositions at the National Hall Celje and Crystal Hall Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia in June 2018.

D has an affinity for the works of Janacek, whose political activism makes him stand out among piano composers. Additionally, she enjoys the works of Gabriel Faure for their sublime harmonies and finely shaded textures.

The piano studio offers an authentic, rigorous and well-rounded musical education with the highest level of personal attention. Throughout her years of teaching in Singapore, she has helped several diploma level students attain their DipABRSM, taught LRSM level repertoire, and prepared students for various levels of competitions and festivals. She focuses on teaching intermediate to advanced level repertoire for committed students.
